We’re looking for a hands-on Algorithm Test & Validation Engineer to design and run experiments that evaluate the accuracy and stability of our computer-vision modules. You’ll work closely with the Algo Team Lead to define validation goals, build test setups, execute experiments, analyze results, and ensure our algorithms perform reliably in real-world conditions.
Full time · Onsite · Algorithm Team
What You’ll Do
- Design and run experiments to measure algorithm accuracy, stability, and repeatability.
- Build and operate camera-based test setups (optics, calibration targets, fixtures).
- Analyze experiment data in Python and present clear conclusions.
- Investigate performance issues and reproduce real-world conditions in controlled tests.
- Write concise validation protocols and reports.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years industry experience in imaging, validation, or experimental work.
- Engineering / CS degree (or similar technical background).
- Comfortable with hardware and hands-on lab setups.
- Basic understanding of computer vision concepts.
- Proven experience in Python development for scripting and data analysis.
- Proven experience in designing and conducting experiments.
Nice to Have
- Experience with OpenCV / NumPy.
- Background in imaging systems, calibration, or measurement.
Success looks like
- You designed a protocol that reliably tests algorithm repeatability.
- You discovered a failure mode and reproduced it with a controlled experiment.
- You generated a report that guided the algo team to improve accuracy.
- You can run experiments independently without constant supervision.
